How does a political caricature artist make a cartoon about Obama without being called a racist?
Q. A political cartoon is usually a caricature that physically makes fun of the subject person. Since our president is obviously black looking, how does a political cartoonist do a satirical cartoon making fun of his prominent features w/o being called a racist? Is this a touchy subject?

A. you can't say or do anything referring to obama in a negative light without being called a racist. disagree with his fiscal policies? you are a racist. disagree with his national policies? you are a racist. think he has big ears? you are a racist. welcome to the Obama-nation. as for voting against him... I did...as did most of my state...enough of us voted against him to keep this state electors from voting for him. however, we were outvoted by the dumb-masses who believed in 'hope and change'. the stock market's at a six year low, unemployment's at a 10 year high...Obama threatens that delaying his stimulus package will cause irrepairable damage to the economy... that 'hope and change' is starting to look a lot like fear-mongering [cont.]

Q. What political events and social viewpoints made a federal Constitution and government essential? If the colonies did not unite, how might America differ today, politically, socially, or economically?

A. well i believe that many things lead to the need for a constitution but in 1776 when thomas jefferson worked on the declaration of Independence would have been the right time in government to make such things happen believe there was many things that lead us up unto this point. If the colony 'wouldn't have united i believe there was a good chance the british would have won the war of 1812 if allot of things wouldn't have happened in 1776 and so on but in the civil war i think the constitution was well into its life and hard for some peoples to grasp but it seems as even as recent as today the constitution has been withered to its frail existence and maybe im blind to some things going on in the world but it seems america needs to unite… [cont.]

A. Not sure of the specifics, but Libertarianism is an abstract politcal concept, not an actual party or party line. You could describe a party as Libertarian, however. A Libertarian party would hold the common belief that an individual should be as free to run their own life as possible. Obviously in modern times you dont get pure Libertarian parties because in essence they support the idea that we do not need political parties to be governed. Assuming you are in the UK, you might want to look at the Liberal Democrats, who have historically been more Libertarian, as their name suggests.
